Three therapeutic activities for children with autism

Children love to enjoy having a good play experience with activities like building blocks, drawing pictures, working on a puzzle, and many others that will yield skills that they can use throughout their life.

A toy that has more use than one and attracts their attention will be more enjoyable. A reliable autism therapy service in Los Angeles utilizes some of these activities to keep your child interested. The activities are also known as multi-sensory, which means that more pathways to brain development are opened and used.

Create sensory bins full of fun time

It is so boring to be only using rice and grain to play with your kids to create a sensory bin. You can always prevent a huge mess, make the set up on top of a shower curtain, and find aquarium gravel comes in awesome colors, Easter grass; straws cut up into pieces are some of the great choices.

Pool Noodles

This might be one of the cheapest and most dynamic pieces of equipment. The simple foam pool noodle is recommended because of its usage in many ways. It can be easily found in a local thrift store.

Visual schedulr

Visual timetables have been quite useful in both my clinic and at home. To stay on track, I use a calendar and a schedule. Many children with autism are visual learners, according to research. As a result, a graphic timetable describing the phases of work is beneficial.
